The trademark of Rhodes, GRANDE ALBERGO DELLE ROSE, began its brilliant way in history on the 24th of May in 1927. Rhodes had acquired one of its most historic and symbolic buildings. Buildings which their architects were of the philosophy… “to exude sun and to move as the waves of Aegean”. The GRANDE ALBERGO DELLE ROSE was christened the “Dream of the East”, as it became the top attraction of the international jet set of the time. Eleftherios Venizelos, Aristotle Onassis, Konstantinos Karamanlis, Georgios Papandreou, Winston Churchill and Moshe Dayan are but a few of the great names to have graced the halls of the hotel with their presence. 75 years later the revival took place. In May 2002 the gates of the Grande Albergo delle Rose reopened, fully renovated by the famous Italian architects and designers Giuseppe Molinari and Nicoletta Demolli, retaining all of its grandeur and splendor. The unique luxury is stretched out in each area of the hotel, the guests are aware of a discrete sense of style and they enjoy particular services from the first moment of their arrival. Guests will go home saying that they have stayed in “Aphrodite”, in “Athena”, in “Odysseus” or in “Apollo” as the 33 deluxe suites have adopted their names from Greek mythology. "Did you ring, Sir?" The personal butler is certainly the peak of the hotel’s services. This attentive and tactful person will willingly and promptly serve the guest 24 hours a day. From the minute that the guest arrives until the minute that he leaves, the butler will anticipate every need and fulfill every desire. He will take care of the room service, the laundering of the guest’s clothing, housekeeping, and will ensure that the guest will be satisfied throughout the duration of his stay. From a summer vacation to a winter getaway, the GRANDE ALBERGO DELLE ROSE is unquestionably the choice for all seasons. |
