Casino Rodos S.A. was officially opened on 2nd of April 1999 while few months later, in October of 1999 acquired its current name as "Casino Rodos". The shareholding structure of Casino Rodos S.A. is divided as follows: National shareholders: · Aenias S.A. · Aegean Investments S.A. International shareholders: · Queenco Leisure International Ltd. · Avalon B.V. · Shopson LTD. · Isis Pharma QLI has the sole management of Casino Rodos but is also involved as shareholder and managerially in the following casinos: · Club Hotel Casino Loutraki - Loutraki, Greece. Shareholder and joint management. · Casino Palace - Bucharest, Romania. Major Shareholder and sole management. · Sasazu – Prague, Czech Republic. Unique shareholder and sole management. The president and managing director of Casino Rodos S.A. is Mr. Enrico N. B. Aidan, a 58 years old man of Italian Origin educated to the highest level in the hotel industry, with vast experience and a long, rich background in the trade. For the last 11 years Mr. Aidan has made of Rhodes his home. Mr. Aidan’s Management system is “Management By Objective” which is based on delegating most tasks to the management team and concentrating control to the executive committee and by the board of directors.The Philosophy of the management leaded by Mr. Aidan, is to maintain the highest standards of service possible, permanent maintenance of the premises and adapting the style of the premises to the modern and actual trends, ensuring training session for all levels of employees and Management that is implemented. The objective of the company is to maintain the highest possible profitability and to become one of the 3 most elegant and respected Casino in Europe. In 2007, Casino Rodos was qualified on the 10th place within all existing Casino Operation in Europe, leaving behind very famous Casinos as Casino Monte Carlo, Casino Baden Baden and more. Casino Rodos employs 340 permanent employees all year round, while during summer months employments number reaches 370. |
